Patient Access Workforce Initiative |
About the programPAWI is a grant-funded training program that addresses a need for well-trained customer service support staff to work with patients in hospitals and clinical offices. The training program provides employment within three healthcare systems. Program partners are Boston Children's Hospital, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, South Shore Health, and Education Partner Franklin Cummings Institute of Technology (FC Tech) Trainees will be hired as paid temporary employees for 15 weeks by each employer. They will attend a combination of on-the-job training/observations, and didactic training with our education partner Franklin Cummings Institute of Technology (FC Tech) . Each trainee will earn nine college credits and earn a program completion certificate from the Patient Access Workforce Initiative. Inquire Today! |
