Patient Access Workforce Initiative |
About the programPAWI is a grant-funded training program that addresses a need for well-trained customer service support staff to work with patients in hospitals and clinical offices. The training program provides employment within three healthcare systems. Program partners are Boston Children's Hospital, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and Education Partner Franklin Cummings Institute of Technology (FC Tech) Trainees will be hired as paid temporary employees for 16 weeks by each employer. They will attend a combination of on-the-job training/observations, and didactic training with our education partner Franklin Cummings Institute of Technology (FC Tech) . Each trainee will earn nine college credits and earn a program completion certificate from the Patient Access Workforce Initiative. Inquire Today! |
